The Hermannsburg Potters. 15 mins.
In the remote Central Australian township of Ntaria, a group of Aranda women known as the Hermannsburg Potters are working on an ambitious sculpture.
Already well-known for their painted clay pots, the potters are branching out.
Using sound, lighting, and of course plenty of clay, their new work draws on their memories of growing up on a Lutheran mission, which still stands today.
